PRESCRIPTIONS

It is no longer necessary to attend in person. It is essential that the request is made in writing

If you require a repeat prescription you can request online here

Include your name, date of birth and names and quantities of medications required. Please give the surgery 72 business hours’ notice when requesting a repeat prescription.

Once a prescription request is received by our reception team it is sent to the relevant doctor. Requests are reviewed and repeat prescriptions are issued if appropriate and then forwarded to the client’s regular pharmacy by email. It is no longer necessary to collect prescriptions

If deemed necessary, you may need to be reviewed by your doctor prior to a repeat prescription being issued. In such instances the surgery will endeavor to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. This policy is in place to ensure patient safety and is strictly adhered to.
